Description
English: Foreground (right): this skull of a seven to eight-year-old child, found in 1997, shows evidence of cut marks and polish after death, suggesting some form of ritualistic behavior post mortem. Catalogue name BOU-VP-16/5 (Herto rests). Foreground (center): This specimen of partial skull, found in 1967 in the lower Omo valley (Ethiopia) was estimated younger than 190.000 years old. Catalogue name: Omo II.
