English: A portrait of Field Marshal Thanom Kittikachorn (Thai: จอมพล ถนอม กิตติขจร), a Thai military dictator and the leader of the Revolutionary Council (Thai: คณะปฏิวัติ), a military junta that seized power in Thailand in 1971, leading to a public uprising in 1973 and the massacre at Thammasat University in 1976, respectively.
