Description
English: The sculpture, Le Seine, designed by Girardon, modeled by Le Hongre, and cast by the Marsy brothers between 1685 and 1694, was one of a set of 16 allegorical figures placed around the Parterre d'Eau (Water Terrace) on the west side of the Palace of Versailles.
