Underlying Data[edit]

On May 31st, 2009 - June 1st, 2009, I checked the history of the articles in namespace main at Conservapedia - without looking up pages which were just redirects. For these ~32,000 pages, I got the date of the first revision and the name of the editor who created this page.

Only current content pages are taken into account: deleted pages are excluded, recreated pages are seen as just being created at the date of their recreation (and by their recreators...) A similar approach, i.e., a complete enumeration of the space, isn't feasable for wikipedia - there is just to much content. I'll try to get a sample of a decent size for wp, to have something to compare with CP. Does anyone has any suggestion for another appoach? Via api, it's easy to get the last revision of a couple of articles, but to get the first revision, you have to touch each article...

Yes, I've done the same thing for RW (3000 content pages in main space) - and I'll upload the pics later.
