More Examples[edit]

I've found that Andy generally responds to criticism by stubbornly insisting he's right and, if pressed, changing the subject and/or using ad hominem attacks. RobS usually just adds more levels of obfuscation, without changing the original statement if at all possible. --Kels 11:21, 27 May 2007 (CDT)

Just to fill this whole talk page with my own musings, I wonder how much this quote underlies the Christopaths' insistence that the world is against them. --Kels 11:32, 27 May 2007 (CDT)

"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you... If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you..." (John 15:18-20)

Citations Needed[edit]

We still need a few cites. Could someone help me pull them?-AmesG 12:02, 27 May 2007 (CDT)

Worldly Power section[edit]

I can't find any evidence the Diocletion stuff ever made it into cp:George Washington, or that Andy ever attempted to refute it. It's still there, un-responded-to, on cp:Talk:George Washington. If he did, it wasn't on that talk page (or the page's history has been tampered with, which for all their flaws I've never seen CP do). Cincinattus/Cincinatus (both spellings have been used) is still in the article. BTW, cp:Special:Export is useful for things like this. --jtltalk 16:27, 27 May 2007 (CDT)

Use of scientific studies.[edit]

Not quite sure if this should fit in or not, but CP posted the "1 in 4 Muslims support suicide bombings" news story on their main page. Anybody just glancing at it would naturally say "oh crap that is bad". But if you actually read the study that Fox News pulled this little nugget of truthiness from, you would see that the "1 in 4" conclusion should have been reported with alot of caveats.
