Romana Didulo, a self-proclaimed "Queen of Canada" with suspected ties to QAnon and anti-vaxxers, is a conspiracy theorist who may be operating a cult[1]. Didulo is suspected of having gained approximately 73,000 followers across Canada who believe that she is the rightful Queen of Canada, some of whom have refused to pay taxes and/or have lost their homes (due to ceasing to make their regular mortgage payments) after presenting a written decree made by Didulo that alleviates them from all taxes and debts.

Born in 1974 in the Philippines, after her parents died in the early-to-mid 1980s (her mother one year after her father), Didulo immigrated to Canada in late July, 1990. In Canada she ran her own company that specialized in recruiting skilled foreign workers to work in the mining, oil sands, and gasoline industries, then soon after that she became homeless, although for a while she mentioned having lived in a nail salon that was owned by one of her friends.

Illegal activity[edit]

In 1991 Didulo was detained in accordance with a search warrant issued in British Columbia by the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police -- Canada's federal policing agency)'s Integrated National Security Enforcement Team (INSET) and served said search warrant, which authorized the police to hold her for up to 48 hours for a mental health assessment[2].

Didulo called for the arrests and killings of health care workers and a wide range of other people who were officially involved in the national response to the COVID-19 immunization programme, which was intended to eradicate the COVID-19 Coronavirus.[citation needed] Her public decree contained the following message:[citation needed]

In September 2023, with a number of her supporters, Didulo called for the public execution of local government officials[3] from within their compound in an old school located in Richmound, Saskatchewan, despite the fact that murder is illegal in Canada and the Canadian legal system does not condone or support capital punishment.

In November 2023, Didulo and her group relocated to a new location in the rural municipality of Fox Valley, 11 km. east of the Richmound village in Saskatchewan, and they no longer occupy the old school building. After leaving in a hurry, it was discovered that they left a heater propped up on top of a propane tank, which Brad Miller, the Mayor of Richmound, noted was a code violation.
