Hi, I hope I can help contribute to this page. I would like to point out that he like to resort to various racialist theories. I listen to him debate Jared Taylor discussing White Supremacy, Race and IQ, and racial separatism. Here the link if I want to see https://youtu.be/fVg8_r1kzbw. Hope this helps — Unsigned, by: SensaurC-137 / talk / contribs

Oh please do! There is a lot to cover on this guy. As far as I'm concerned this article is more or less finished, it just needs a few references. The subject covers a lot of bases - pseudohistory, racism, homophobia, probably misogyny (I'd have to look into that further), and ahem, pickupartistery.-Albannach (talk) 22:28, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

References[edit]

I am trying to collect together some online references for some of TN's material, but they are hard to come by through mainstream sources. I am getting these via search engines so may need to vet some of these before this article heads back into mainspace.-Albannach (talk) 22:52, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

Tariq and Asian-Americans[edit]

Didn't know this article was being made. I should point out that Tariq has made several tweets about Asian Americans, particularly around when the COVID anti-Hate crime bill was passed:

I might add and expand the section myself if I have time, but I figure I'd add some sources here if folks wanted to start it. ℕoir LeSable (talk) 18:35, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

He seems to despise Asians. One of the police officers involved in the Floyd case was ethnic Asian, and I think he tried to implicate all Asians as a result.
I have been struggling to find decent resources on him. One of my refs may be white far right (I'll have to check it out), and Russia Today has some info although this site probably won't accept RT. The mainstream media seems to have a blindspot about this guy - the Independent had an article about him saying how great his documentaries were, even though women and LGBT+ criticise him. Really the only way this guy is remotely "progressive" is standing up for black rights, but even when he does that he makes racist statements about other groups and attacks gays.
By all means add the Twitter stuff. I'm not sure it will last long as either Twitter itself or TN may pull it. His latest gaffe on there is saying the Chris Chan incest scandal is representative of white people.-Albannach (talk) 11:55, 3 August 2021 (UTC)

Existence of buck breaking[edit]

I was a bit confused to read that the article didn't explicitly state that buck breaking was false. I did some digging, and the source of that idea was a r/askhistorians question. It seems scholarly, but definitely not a trustworthy source, so this leaves us with a bit of a conundrum. While there's no evidence to support the historicity of buck breaking, there are no good sources that outright disprove it. I think just implying that it was real by omission is probably a bad idea, so I'm not quite sure how to proceed with this section armed_roomba (she/her)What am I doing wrong this time? 07:15, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
