Forum:Nevada Recount: Bernie wins, not Hillary

Clark and Wahoe Counties, specifically, did a recount. And the final tally has Bernie winning it, which - to my understanding - means Bernie takes Nevada instead of Hillary. Basically, when the delegates were supposed to be counted, most of Clinton's supporters did not show up, giving the majority win to Sanders. Serocco 06:45, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

Sanders wins a resounding two more delegates. Whee. 986 to go.
He's going to need a lot more than a slight shift in the balance in Nevada (including either a superdelegate hop or something incredibly disastrous for the Clinton campaign) to cinch the nomination. ℕoir LeSable (talk) 18:37, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
He'll likely get more than her by the state convention in May, so it's retroactively Nevada for Bernie. Every little bit counts.Serocco 00:26, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
Ugh, John Kasich looks better by the day. Not a pro life fan, but 1. I'm a man with no intention of marrying or having kids and 2. am resigned to the idea that there's no perfect candidate. Just saw the latest Sanders interview on Charlie Rose (who seriously needs an article here), and if it comes to Sanders/Clinton vs. Trump/Cruz I have every intention of voting for Jason Giambi (any WFAN listeners out there?). Lest you worry my state, CT, is going Democrat no matter what, and the only impact a Giambi vote might have is to remind the rest of the country of our existence. Why don't you vote for Sanders in the primary? Pbfreespace3 (talk) 11:42, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
CT is a closed state, and I'm not registered with the Democratic Party. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 18:22, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
