Fun:Eat The Rich

The poor are tough and stringy!

Actually, the poor can be a good food source, if managed correctly. Instead of wasting much of society's resources keeping them alive until their tough and stringy "lean" years, they should be fattened well for up to a year or so after birth, and then cooked and eaten. Modest apologies, of course, to the proposal of one Mr. Swift.

However, eating the rich has a large fiscal advantage, indeed may become a form of wealth redistribution unto itself. The assets of rich people consumed for food may be appropriated (they don't need them after all; what is $1G worth to you when you're a big plate of Szechuan Long Pork?) and returned to circulate in the economy, since money and goods are economically meaningful only when they circulate, not when they simply accumulate pools in one place.

But it should also be noted that rich people who spend enormous amounts of time in health clubs are quite likely to be particularly tough and stringy; obesity and poor muscle tone are now associated (in the U.S.) with poverty rather than wealth.
