File:Kim Jong-un.jpg | Result: Oh, sod it! We might as well sodding keep it[edit]
Delete[edit]
- Commons has free images of Kim Jong Un available now, rendering this fair-use image unnecessary. — pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 02:03, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
- The Portraits of Kim Jong-un category on Wikimedia Commons alone has 8 pictures in it. It's highly unlikely that all 8 of those pictures will be deleted. It's much more likely that more free to use pictures of him will be added. You might just as well argue that a locally uploaded picture of a glass of water should be kept because a similar image could be deleted from Commons. Spud (talk) 15:15, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
- Oh, sod it! Since a deleted image is still stored on our servers, we might as well sodding keep it. You know, it isn't even used on the Kim Jong-un page, that uses an image from Wikimedia Commons instead. Oh, well. It doesn't make any sodding difference. Spud (talk) 15:16, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
Keep[edit]
- Wikimedia Commons has deleted pictures in the past (See Ayn Rand), and backups are always handy. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 02:07, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

- Don't see a real reason to delete. Even if Wikimedia Commons keeps this image for eternity, no harm in having a copy here too. We don't even save space, as the image we delete is still stored in the servers. --It's-a me, LeftyGreenMario! 02:27, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
