Falling star[edit]

From the article: "the falling of a star from heaven opening the Abyss (another awesome movie) releasing a swarm of scorpion-locusts. In reality a collision with even a small star would destroy the Earth. Also, a woman is crowned with stars. Clearly, the authors did not know what a star really is"

No, it seems more likely that John of Patmos simply said "falling star" to mean a meteor or comet. I would suggest that this is not a meaningful criticism, and I ask its author to explain it to me. New3.pngPink(Talk) 16:08, 10 October 2008 (EDT)

Well, first, Proxy had put it at star, where it really seemed out of place. Perhaps we can figure out a way to work it in here? Put it in the corner with some food and a water bowl? ħumanUser talk:Human 21:55, 10 October 2008 (EDT)
I had something snappy to say write here, but then I realized it wasn't that snappy. Just carry on as if I hadn't come... Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 21:04, 11 October 2008 (EDT)

Chernobyl[edit]

In the local language Chernobyl means 'wormwood': mention should be made of this (as was at the time).

Apparently all the bees in the areas through which the radiation cloud passed went back into their hives until it had gone.

Chernobyl does not mean wormwood. What's your reference for the bees? Totnesmartin (talk) 19:19, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Best of amusement[edit]
