The Fucking News[edit]

Isn't this a description of 'the tabloids'/Celebrity Gossip Magazines? Or am I reading it the wrong way? 31.49.115.220 (talk) 21:26, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Idpol[edit]

Sorry to see rationalwiki becoming a den of irrational idpol prop. This article is the usual idpol nonsense trying to paint a rational leftist as right-wing for not kowtowing to pseudo-fascistic idpol bigotry, that is disguised as progressive but usually seeks to make the world a laughably black and white affair where no non-white can be racist and women are automatically mansplained. This trash article needs, in my opinion, deleting or fixing as it reads like character assassination of someone who simply doesn't conform to the wishes of the idpol mafia. - The Mummy.

I wouldn't say that. The "Character" section is void of any unjustified scorn or derision, and the "Videos" section is devoid of criticism whatsoever. Ditto for "In other media." The only section with any significant criticism is "Conservative Stooge?" - and it's pretty tame. It argues in the character's defense in some places, and it's orders of magnitude lighter than many articles on wingnuts and moonbats. The article doesn't call him a racist, mansplainer, or anything else you'll push under the nebulous "ipol" banner. IveBeenFrank (talk) 00:34, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
You should try improving the article yourself, buddy. I don't plan to. Twodots (talk) 00:41, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
Heya, I initially authored the Conservative Stooge section as I thought it was worth pointing out that many of Pie's most viewed videos have him credulously repeat conservative talking points about "triggered SJW's" almost verbatim. As mentioned often these points are gross mis-representations or hysterical over-reactions and a significant portion of his audience seem to take these stories at face value. It's largely benign by itself but part of a worrying trend and based in easily debunkable bullshit. I've tidied up certain parts for grammar and tone's sake, but those criticisms stand. Get ready, it's... (talk) 12:32, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

"Despite being a leftist"[edit]

Since when has being on the left been inherently anti-free speech? Surly he doesn't support free speech "despite" being on the left, more it should be seen as a trait that is because of it. Ajuk (talk) 01:35, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
