'Luck' describes 'the actual intersection between the individual and the laws of probability when it works noticeably for or against what the individual wants.' In some cases 'luck' = an opportunity spotted' and 'bad luck' = shorthand for 'nobody is to blame for it going wrong.' 171.33.222.26 (talk) 18:33, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
