First part

Start in your userspace, here, first. Then ask for feedback. There aren't any notability requirements here, so as long as your article is well-sourced, well written, and topical, you should be fine.--"Shut up, Brx." 09:01, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to RationalWiki! Sam Tally-ho! 18:06, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, guys. I've given it a crack at least to start with. I've noted where I need cites in italics for now, and I've tried to wikilink as much as I can. There are some other options on wikilinks (such as Autism and psuedoscience, Autism omnibus trial and vaccine options) that could be worked in, but I would have to read the articles first for proper context. If anyone sees anything that can be cited in addition by all means let me know! Hope my writing style is acceptable. BankBox (talk) 09:51, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

Read the bit on blocking. Enjoy having the dreaded mop of doom, but wield it judiciously. Tielec01 (talk) 11:07, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

I will tell you this only once.

If you block me again and blindly revert good-faith edits to meant improve a problematic article about a living person. you will be cooped. Peace. AgingHippie (talk) 04:49, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

Your last batch of edits on the article were not in good faith. BankBox (talk) 04:51, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
Yes. They were meant to thin out the crazy and help it become a streamlined critique of someone with problematic things to say about autism. Peace. AgingHippie (talk) 04:54, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
You don't thin out crazy. That defeats the purpose of educating readers about these people. BankBox (talk) 04:56, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

If you have a problem with the behaviour of an editor there are better ways to deal with it. Take it up on the article's talk page, the user's talk page, or if you feel you need more attention from other editors, you could take it up on the saloon or coop (but don't do this lightly). Remember, all history is saved, so whatever anyone does, it can be reverted with just a few clicks. Blocking people will only server to annoy them, as you can see here ;-) Carpetsmoker (talk) 05:00, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

I didn't know Hippie could unblock himself, which didn't help. It doesn't matter now - the article is gone because I'm am sick and tired of his attacks on it. BankBox (talk) 05:01, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

Fuck it

Okay obviously Hippie is a vandal who doesn't understand how dangerous Oliver Canby is, so the article is gone. I'll put it somewhere where it's actually appreciated for what it is. BankBox (talk) 04:58, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

Well, there was an awful lot of poorly written stuff about his other odd beliefs. A bullet list mentioning 5 or 6 should be enough. If he's dangerous (I presume you mean on the topic of autism), throwing in every nutty thing he's ever uttered just dilutes the important points. AH has a very good eye for editing. Fixing poorly drafted text is a thing with him.---Mona- (talk) 05:03, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
But he was deleting entire sections that needed to stay. It's not just about autism. It's about a number of things. BankBox (talk) 05:04, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
Hm. Well, that lengthy revert I read was a lot of stuff about a lot of stuff. I didn't see a great deal of pertinent information and, really, the writing is bad.---Mona- (talk) 05:07, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
It's not and you know it's not. It's pertinent and I'm the son of a librarian so don't tell me about writing. BankBox (talk) 05:12, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
"and I'm the son of a librarian" Dude. Dude. I can't even.---Mona- (talk) 05:23, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
haha. I'm the son of a heart surgeon. Please, come over and get a heart transplant! Trust me, I'm the son of a heart surgeon. What could possibly go wrong? I'm the son of a heart surgeon!
More seriously, you could do with a little timeout to relax before you say or do things you might regret later ;-) You can start by watching this funny cartoon :-) Carpetsmoker (talk) 05:27, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

Talk:Oliver Canby

Talk pages remain in perpetuity. Thanks. Peace. AgingHippie (talk) 05:04, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

Where does it say that? Oh I know. Nowhere. Stay off my talk page as of now. BankBox (talk) 05:05, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
It says that here. Pretty sure I helped write it at one point. Peace. AgingHippie (talk) 05:07, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
Just FYI, we can't keep people off our talk pages here. If they behave like a troll (really behave like a troll) you can revert the trollish post.---Mona- (talk) 05:09, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

Really...

Step away from the computer and do something else. You're of course free to do what you want, but you have all the appearances of someone who is very agitated, and might do something you later think is a bit silly. Carpetsmoker (talk) 05:40, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
