New logo large.png Meh. You signing up for a RationalWiki account doesn't really move us one way or the other, MusicOfTheSpheres.

This is probably because of your poor, obvious attempts at trolling or displays of unwelcome behavior. Maybe you should try to examine our articles and mission statement first, or take a walk outside.

We realize that it's possible that you may be here in good faith, so we'll do our best to tolerate it. But don't expect us to get too excited.

Our Newcomers' Guide may help clarify things for you.

Please don't delete my thread[edit]

I don't understand @LeftyGreenMario and @GrammarCommie don't you care about the Community Standards? MusicOfTheSpheres (talk) 03:47, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

Your arguments have been refuted a thousand times. We don't appreciate sealioning; keep that up and you'll get your talk page access revoked. LongStylus (talk) 03:58, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
@MusicOfTheSpheres Do you really want me to address the arguments you copy/pasted? ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 04:03, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
@GrammarCommie Yes please! That was why I posted it in the first place! MusicOfTheSpheres (talk) 05:29, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
Per your copy/paste.
Laughably weak
Complexity just proves complexity, any further assumptions are unsound.
Subjective beauty merely proves that you find something visually appealing.
It does not follow that life would have no meaning without the Christian god.
Last argument is too vague to actually address, be more specific.
There, I addressed your PRATTs. Come back when you have actual evidence of the Christian god. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 13:40, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
Oh, look. ADOC is evading his ban again. GeeJayK (talk) 14:52, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Per your rebuttals above:

  • I don't think your fine-tuning article understands just how unlikely the physical constants have to exactly right for any sort of life to exist. If the physical constants were slighty ever so slightly different then the star couldn't be able to create life. Also notice how it seems that Earth is the only place in the universe for life? The only explaination is God. Also the multiverse has never been proven.
  • Your article merely talks about "evolution" which is a whole other can of worms. But have you ever seen a cell? Its so incredibly complex that if evolved is like a car parts were rolled down a hill and assembled a car.
  • Obviously those terrible animals likethe fish from the deep sea and cancer came into the world after the fall of Man.
  • Yes it does. If their is no God what is there for life? How is murder is wrong if they is no God? Why fall in love if love is merely just some neurons firing in the brain? Why not do anything you want if people are merely just carbon, oxygen and hydrogen, plus several other elements.
  • The Bible has been around for thousands of years and no one has ever managed to prove its wrong in any passage whats so ever. As the Bible has never be proven wrong, it means that it has the most accurate portrayal of the Creation of the World and subsequent events.

Those were my rebuttals to @GrammarCommie points. MusicOfTheSpheres (talk) 22:40, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

@GeeJayK This doesn't sound like ADOC or Ken yet. Plenty of people have hardline bible beliefs. --Andrew5 (talk) 23:01, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
@MusicOfTheSpheres This isn't a debate. I offered to address your "arguements", if they can even be called that, and I did. This discussion is therefore over as you have zero intention of changing your mind or accepting evidence and I have zero intention of wasting my time trying force you to do so. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 00:40, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
@GrammarCommie Actually I think you are stalling because you have no rebuttals aganist me. Am I right? I mean I presented evidence back but did you accept it? MusicOfTheSpheres (talk) 02:48, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
Sigh, look I had a geeze at all of your evidence and lets just say they have been used thousands of times.
Your fine tuning arguement forgets that humans envolved to fit the universe not the universe was designed to fit humans. Also while you fig at the tuning of stars may be true, do remember that the multiverse hypothesis while not proven is a serious contention in physics circles.
  • There is now scientific evidence that chemicals like organism can go through natural selection. Remember the first cells were not the same as today. Cells went through natural selection.
  • Saying "ugly things were a result of the fall of Man!" is merely a creationist escape hatch and shows your beauty argument is stupid.
  • Look there is many many people out there who disagree with you here with this arguement. I for one is an atheist and I think life has meaning.
  • Note that the generalogy of Jesus is different between Matthew and Luke. Epic Games (talk) 03:04, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
@Epic Games You're wasting your time. Nothing you say will change their mind. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:07, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
@MusicOfTheSpheres For your fourth point: being part of a working class family and going through this pandemic forces me to see life through a materialistic lens. I am constantly limited in what I can do based on material factors like my financial resources, my health problems, the economy, what politicians do, etc. Yet, struggling through life and hoping things will get better gives me plenty of meaning. No God involved! LongStylus (talk) 03:32, 19 January 2022 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── GC sadly your probably right. Epic Games (talk) 04:18, 19 January 2022 (UTC)

I hope at least they will understand materialism. LongStylus (talk) 04:35, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
