How to improve this draft?[edit]

Hello. I am the creator of this draft. Can you help me to improve it? I am still a beginer. Yassine Mehdi (talk) 16:9, 3 August 2023 (UTC)

Yeah, it's fine. You've been doing good work. Carthage (talk) 16:11, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
Thank you. Yassine Mehdi (talk) 16:16, 3 August 2023 (UTC)

Too many red links[edit]

There are so many red links in the page please fix them --Edward the eight (talk) 12:56, 3 August 2023 (UTC)

Is this missional?[edit]

I've yet to see anything in this draft that would justify its existence here. There appears to be nothing here that is missional. And what the fuck is with the constant addition of a link to a non-existent funspace article "ghoti"? —cosmikdebris talk stalk 13:59, 3 August 2023 (UTC)

I think the IPA is of marginal relevance as a context provider to our linguistics articles. Also the constant addition is why I protected the article. It's vandalism. Carthage (talk) 14:01, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
How's that superior to just linking the IPA article on Wikipedia? Moon Sock (talk) 17:33, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
@Carthage Besides what Moon Sock noted, are there any particular linguistics articles here for which this article, completed, would provide substantial context? 𝒮𝑒𝓇𝑒𝓃𝑒 talk 17:43, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
No. This is not missional. The IPA isn't perfect, of course, but there's nothing pseudoscientific about it. And there's nothing especially pseudoscience-busting about it either. RW could really do without this.
On the other hand, a funspace article on the well-loved linguists' joke ghotiWikipedia is something I could get behind. Spud (talk) 14:21, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
I also cannot see any way in which this furthers the mission.Bob"Life is short and (insert adjective)" 16:00, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
