  1. Article just provides the text of a struck-down bill, which can be provided with an external link and does not need to be on this wiki. Many similar articles have been deleted before, so why should this remain? The "unknown copyright status" is just the cherry on top Plutocow (talk) 03:50, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
  2. I agree that it's pointless. Spud (talk) 14:20, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
  3. We've done this before. Pizza SLICE.gifChef Moosolini’s Ristorante ItalianoMake a Reservation 14:30, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
  4. Burn it. A somebody. (talk) 17:36, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
  5. I put a link in the article to case law containing the text of this law in the appendix. That makes this article redundant. Yeet it out the Solar System for all I care. Carthage (talk) 17:48, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
  6. Agree, now entirely safe to remove.BobJohnson (talk) 20:19, 9 July 2023 (UTC)

  1. Perhaps of some value if someone actually gave it some background, analysis etc. But if nobody can be arsed to do this, I'm not gonna weep if it gets memory holed. KarmaPolice (talk) 13:30, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
Well, we have Edwards v. Aguillard, which provides the background but is a bit stubby. Plutocow (talk) 16:46, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
  2. I agree that with context it might be worth something. The general subject matter is certainly within the scope of the mission. But it's not doing a lot just sitting by itself.Bob"Life is short and (insert adjective)" 14:47, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
It should be referenced in Edwards v. Aguillard (but it isn't). The Arizona version of this is noted in the much more comprehensive McLean v. Arkansas Board of Education article (it looks like a similar reference page for that article has already been deleted).
At any rate, the text of the law in this reference page (along with an appeals court decision) can be found here (via Public.Resource.OrgWikipedia). For some reason, the Supreme Court decision already linked in the RW article doesn't seem to have the law text, and Louisiana's digital archives are a hot mess, but for the appeals court decision, the text of the Louisiana law is neatly enclosed in the appendix.
