There's a game (and more than likely this will not happen only there) in which Longinos (it's named so) was actually a weapon designed to kill gods, and when it was used against what basically was an artificial deity things went very wrong, most notably the unfortunate guy who lanced him thirteen times being transformed into something extremely powerful before being locked away (long history). There’s also a famous Nazi metal band called Spear of Longinus. Thought it was worth mentioning somewhere. Postleninism (talk) 02:55, 8 February 2022 (UTC)

James Herbert's 1978 novel The Spear also had the Holy Wossname in it, and Nazis. Resurrecting Heinrich Himmler through supernatural means! Wowsa! More prosaically, after the breakup of UK band Theatre Of Hate, former frontman Kirk Brandon formed the somewhat less shouty Spear Of Destiny. Mr Larrington (talk) 01:49, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
