Literally 1984[edit]

Winston Smith is guilty of this fallacy in Nineteen Eighty-Four, with his insistence that some "universal spirit" would ensure that the Party would ultimately fail and be overthrown. --Scherben (talk) 21:45, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
