Yes, this article certainly needs some attention. Hipocrite (talk) 17:09, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

Lede with definition?[edit]

This is a pretty in media res article? What are we talking about? Why is it important? ikanreed You probably didn't deserve that 15:19, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

Seems to be new age movement, allegedly originating in South Korea, which practices some type of meditation woo. Comically, the leader of the cult is allegedly named "Woo". The current page is mess, but the topic seems highly missional. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 15:24, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Not proposing deletion. Far from it. Just too ill-informed to build a lede myself. I could research it on the internet, but I'm not sure I'd come away informed enough to build a lede. ikanreed You probably didn't deserve that 15:26, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Glad to bringed attention on Maum meditation here in this wiki, there are some websites that were recently put down speaking of maum, apart discussions on reddit and culteducation.con the only other "reliable" sources of information are the Maum websites theirself, you can verify few things yourself however (Mahatma Ghandi Peace price does not exist in example, still that piece of information is mentioned in all their websites, and even in books published by Woo Myung). About me, I have a friend and his father entering Maum meditation, their familiars are really warried of that. I recently purchased the book from Rick Alan Ross (cults inside out) to get an Idea on how to proceed, however I'm not the best person to write a wiki (you see my english skill is really lacking). What warries me about Maum meditation is the fact very few people know about that while in reality it is much widespread. Right know I'm personally convinced 10% that maum meditation really teaches something usefull to umanity and 90% convinced that is just a brainwashing cult (we have people entered in scientology and later exited, but still do not have people that exited Maum meditation).Maum has a Spanish Wikipedia page, however seems to be created by cultists only. My friend had discussions with his family because of Maum, that warries me too, he defends the meditation center just as he would defend his family (and he just meditated for few months) I can give few more information but unluckily that will be based only on my "word", there is not much info in the end on the internet (by the way the reddit post made by "BellatrixLeRegular" was mine. Someone help this article[edit]

This article is clearly missional and has source material, however, it currently looks nothing like an article. It has no summary. It has no footnotes, no notes, no "See also" section, no categories and no navbar. The actual text as it stands now is just a mishmash of various headlines that do not follow proper formatting rules. If this isn't changed, we can't keep the article. So please help change it. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 00:23, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

Ok When I have a free moment I'll take some time to properly write the article by looking at other articles, then I hope someone may correct mispellings or similiar (not very good at english here). Thanks for the patience. Syllabus 8:24 Saturday 23 April 2016

Too many Secrets[edit]

It should be noted that you can't find a picture of the founder on the internet (at least from my attempts), and that the helpers won't answer your questions without you actually signing up. Also the book reviews for the material they provide reveal that they don't teach anything, but are just advertisement for the course.Machina (talk) 06:12, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
