Why does the user "Evil Reptilian Overlord" keep changing the content in this page to be in favor of Maduro? — Unsigned, by: Jisims95 / talk / contribs

I would tend to agree with you, @Jisims95. 1) I would say that thegrayzone.com, which is cited regarding Guaidó, is completely unreliable in this matter since its editor is Max Blumenthal[1] who is affiliated with Russian media (Max BlumenthalWikipedia. 2) The fact that a person wins an election does not automatically make one legitimate. There is good reason to doubt the fairness of the 2018 election, and a large number of democracies have not recognized the election (2018 Venezuelan presidential electionWikipedia). @Evil Reptilian Overlord, what do you have to say in your defence? Fine. Go ahead and edit the article to fit into the hawkish neolib narrative. After all I'm just a South American, what the fuck do I know about South America? Evil Reptilian Overlord (talk) 08:11, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
I'm actually suspicious of Guiadó, but what Maduro has been doing is appalling.[2] I've seen Maduro called an authoritarian by Western liberal, centrist and conservative outlets, so it's rather clear that Maduro is acting contrary to RW's anti-authoritarian purposes. Castillo[edit]

The Western press called it a coup, the Peruvian press called it a coup, the rest of the Latin American press called it a coup, Wikipedia has a page on the 2022 Peruvian self-coup attemptWikipedia (in English, Spanish as well as many other languages.), even the Constitutional Court of PeruWikipedia called it a coup. The law didn't allow Castillo to dissolve the Congress. Yet, he tried. It was a coup. GeeJayKWhere all evil dwells Where every lie is true 16:09, 11 December 2022 (UTC)

Pretty much every Peruvian outlet is basically like Fox News and Western neoliberal sources like the New York Times have always been unfair to Latin American leftists. But I think my new edit should be fair, it is important to have context behind Castillo's actions and plus it also talks about the next leader of Peru. Plutocow (talk) 20:08, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
I don't agree with your edit, I don't know if you're saying that a crisis is over after a couple of days, but it's too early for that. I won't dispute it though, not in the mood for that. GeeJayKWhere all evil dwells Where every lie is true 22:02, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
