This[edit]

This seems really ranty and axe-to-grindy to me - does anyone no anything about the subject? PFoster 18:51, 10 January 2008 (EST)

Never Mind. PFoster 18:53, 10 January 2008 (EST)

Mother Jones[edit]

I have not heard of this magazine, and I am not going to make any claim about it. The specific people that article mentions, however, notably Michael Boldin, appear to be confederate sympathizers. How do I know this? Look at Michael Boldin's statements in the comments section. He makes the following statement: "the southern states were NOT ignoring federal law. It was Northern states ignoring federal slave laws. Didn't learn that one? Read the South Carolina "Declaration of Causes" yourself. They complain about this specifically....". I don't know much about this guy, but just from his comments on an article that was meant to defend him from accusations of racism, his record does not look good. You haven't heard of Mother Jones. Kid, I live under a fucking rock and I've heard of Mother Jones. ТyrannisPlead 01:53, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
(EC) Mother Jones is a well-respected "progressive" magazine that has won many awards for its journalistic endeavors. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 01:56, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
Not doubting that. I was just a bit skeptical about the specific claims of that article, which appeared to defend a "state's rights" advocate. Mr. Anon (talk) 01:57, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

Ben Carson[edit]

I recently added a segment on their brief involvement with (or rather against) Ben Carson, and the ensuing Fox-led shitenado/gripefest, among other things. While the other things may not have been worth adding, I feel that the section on their brief listing of Ben Carson as an extremist, forced recantation, etc. was on-mission, not toooooo poorly written, factual (could've used additional refs, yes, but that does not justify outright removal), and of course relevant to this particular article's subject. Madman, can I get a better explanation for this removal than "IT! HAS! BEGUN!" please? PacWalker 05:45, 26 March 2015 (UTC) Edited to correct embarrassing redlink. PacWalker 05:46, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

I've reinstated a revised (read: expanded) version of PacWalker's edit as I agree it was both relevant and well-written. ScepticWombat (talk) 08:48, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

TERF hate groups?[edit]

One of the progressive criticisms is the lack of Trans Exclusive Radical Feminist groups. This begs the question; ARE there TERF groups? I'm under the impression they are just a loose group of assholes who aren't unified in any off-line organization.Suomi10 (talk) 04:17, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
