Moreover, stop archiving material you don't want to deal with. It is just cowardly. Evil harmonic Hoover! 14:49, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
WHO THE FUCK DIED AND MADE YOU QUEEN?
It should be fairly obvious that archiving things just because you hate the person who said them is out of line. Evil harmonic Hoover! 14:55, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
It's just a more acceptable form of Ken's deletion of comments on his talk page that don't suit him. Evil harmonic Hoover! 14:57, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
Fine. Censor your talk page, but accept what is possibly my first swearing on this wiki: fuck off, you pathetic bully. Evil harmonic Hoover! 14:59, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
CUR shouldn't have called you an ass, but who can blame him, given how vile you are towards him. What I take issue at is the fact that you moved an active discussion into a place which is, by community agreement, read-only, despite the fact that it was nowhere near the size for archiving. Indeed, the only reason you did so was that you like picking on an editor who commented in the thread. Go on, give a justification other than "it's my talkpage, and I can do whatever I want with it". Evil harmonic Hoover! 15:13, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
I don't really have to justify myself to you but here: Justification: removal of offensive comment. I have not interacted with CUR other than to desysop him after he went on a stupid & offensive block : " 16:48 (cur; last) . . ConservapediaUndergroundResistor (Talk | contribs | block) (blocked User:Toast with an expiry time of 31416 seconds (account creation disabled): I hate you.)" I believe that this was totally justified. ToastToastand marmite 15:18, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
No it isn't. You have been very nasty to CUR in the past, and he is perfectly justified in hating you. Anyway, your talk page isn't your property. It belongs to the community, and you cannot just prevent further discussion because you don't like what is said. Evil harmonic Hoover! 15:22, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
I have scrupulously avoided any interaction with CUR for ages now and I don't see that "You are an ass" is in any way a reasonable discussion header. Had it been less confrontational, then I wouldn't have done what I did. ToastToastand marmite 15:29, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
A little blast from the past... Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 15:33, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
What's wrong with that? ToastToastand marmite 15:40, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
You used an offensive heading there, and I bet you would have whinged if Listener had archived it without discussion. Evil harmonic Hoover! 15:42, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
There's a difference between being offensive about content & being offensive about a person. ToastToastand marmite 15:46, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
The link was a response to your remark about the header being "too confrontational." Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 15:52, 26 March 2009 (EDT)

I don't. Philip won't censor our comments, so we might as well throw everything we have at him, just to try to combat the misinformation he spread around. Besides, he could prove helpful in taking down Conservapedia some time. --<choose>

Hello[edit]

I wanted to apologize for making the Buddhism comment on the main page talk section a few days ago, obviously not a very rational thing to do, thus forcing you to have to clean up after me. I will try to be more careful in the future! :) Clepper 17:58, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

No worries. If you don't know your way around teh wiki, it's not your fault & we used to dump loads of stuff on main Page Talk that we've learned not to do now. See you've found what the Saloon Bar's for! ToastToastand marmite 18:01, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm trying to learn wiki policy. I've always been a super-lurker of wikis, but never an active participant in one. I'm working up to actually contributing something, heh. Yup, I've found a use for the Saloon Bar, but I hope that if anyone wants me to STFU they say so. I'd totally understand. The 'Some random new user comes in and starts ruining the good clean fun of the Saloon Bar' scenario is one I'm trying to avoid. /sheepish grin :) Clepper 18:16, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
If it goes on much longer, someone'll suggest moving it to "Debate" namespace. ToastToastand marmite 18:21, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm hoping it won't get much longer... whether or not Listener X thinks it's cowardly, I don't see the point of 'I'm right'-ism, and it seems any further debate on the subject would be superfluous to RationalWiki per the debate on Liberal Beliefs, which I seem to remember Listener X himself taking part in. I'll try to stall the section. Hopefully I presented enough common ground for appeasement. Chances are I didn't. Ah well. Clepper 19:19, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Brainwashing much?[edit]

Strange what crops up when you're rootling round the web. Found this & don't know where to put it, if anywhere:

I was saved June 26th 1967 after some 4 years of pretty heavy personal witnessing to me by several wonderful God loving people that God had put in place at different locations where I would have to be around them. I remember these people after all these years. They were so sincere. They really believed what they were telling me themselves. They would tell me that I was lost, that I was a sinner going to a devil's Hell. Some even cried they were so concerned. They would tell me about God's love and that He was the only Saviour. They would plead with me and pray with me too get saved. These people would not give-up on me. As time drew closer to June 1967, I began to really dislike them even hate them. I would hide from them and dodge them, anything I could to keep away from them. But they would continue to tell me that God gave His only begotten Son too die for me in my place and that He paid the price for my sins. "Jesus loves you" they would say. Then June 5th - 10th 1967, the Israeli Six Day War broke out and man did I come alive. I became so scared & nervous because I had heard over & over in my adult life that the Jews were God's special people. I had started working at Hayes International Corp. in Birmingham in February of 1965. This is where I worked the week leading up to the 26th. On Thursday June 22nd, God gave me a vision. I was driving down the road a suddenly the vision hit. I was in this white cloud of the "Shekinah Glory" for a few seconds and when a came out of it I was saying as fast as I could "I'll go to church, I'll go to church". I was really shaken up. This was the first time God had visited me like this. I was not the same the rest of the day, I just couldn't be normal no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't shake the feeling I had. Everyday when I returned home (5:00 p.m.), my wife Sue would always have supper ready and on the table. Well this day when got home I told her "We are going to Church Sunday". She had been trying too get me to go for several months. So Sunday morning came and she decided she wasn't going, so I got ready and went.

What really annoys me is the intelligence devoted to the whole thing. They use their brains assiduously in defence if the indefensible. The informattion crap is just an aspect. There's been no improvement in the evidence flr gOD's existence at all. You'd think that it would be a priority. Phil can't see he information inherent in his 'random' matches because he defines information as that which informs me. The fact that others can extract information is immaterial as is the inherent information in any pattern of the matches even if no-one extracts that information. (I haven't read it today - on phone not pc).

Next to User:LArron, User:SusanG is at the moment the copyright holder for the largest number of images released specifically under the GFDL. If SusanG were so inclined now would be an excellent opportunity to go ahead and release those as CC-BY-SA. It is of course her choice. RE: Your link re: cosmetic surgery for girly bits.[edit]

You're probably right about how porn has helped to commodify women's genitals (although there's a longer history of that in terms of things like menstrual products/douches/deodorants, etc...). Have you seen the "Mow the Lawn" commercials? Preposterous. And evil.

I'm reminded of when my ex was reading a Cosmo magazine--the teaser on the cover for one of the articles read something like: "What he's thinking the first time he sees you naked--how to creatively hide your flaws." Flaws? Bullshit. as a man I'll tell you what I'm thinking the first time I see her naked: "Holy shit! She's NAKED. This is going way better than I expected!"

That being said, one of the things I'm really curious about is what easy access to hard-core porn (in my day we were lucky to find a copy of Penthouse or Playboy, never mind what one can now see with a few clicks of the mouse) is doing in terms of the development of male sexuality--what they think is normal (...apparently pubic hair is "gross" now) and what they expect women to do--and how that's going to play out on women's bodies and self-images, and how capitalism will profit from those shifts. Thanks for the link. TheoryOfPractice (talk) 16:50, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

I think that homosexuals of either gender are more likely to dislike pubic hair than hetero men (it gets stuck in the teeth, you know) Nods.gif. I'm not very experienced in the appearance of vulvas, having seen fewer close up than most men probably. Since school I've probably seen fewer than five. I had no exposure to porn at all until the coming of the internet where it's almost obligatory. I suppose that with the (apparent) preoccupation of men with the size of their bits(?), it's only fair that some insecurity ought to be spread to us Laughing.gif. Face it, if there's money to be made out of anything it will be: they've done the face and the bosom and even the backside and obviously had to find somewhere else. I've never particularly liked my body (I'm built like a 12 year old in size and shape) but I wouldn't trade it for Marylin Monroe's. What was the song "My face, I don't mind it/ For I am behind it/ It's those in the front get the jar."

Confession time - I'm afraid I don't like shaved pubes it is too reminiscent of children and doesn't turn me on at all. On the other hand I do have a predilection for gamin types which is probably why I quite like far-Eastern women and Irish pixies. And as for pubes getting stuck in your teeth well there's nothing quite like a freshly washed pussy even for heterosexuals - I can say that I have "given" in this respect far more than I've ever "received" so don't tar all of us straight men with that bush. Penetration[edit]

Hello thar, I had a question I was hoping you could answer for me. Have you ever been penetrated? If not, allow me to explain the experience. First he starts talking all smutty, which makes you all wet and drippy. Then he slips himself into teh wetness, and bangs on you as hard as he can for about two minutes. Then you have to go shower with your legs apart while you drip out teh excess dickmilk. After he's gone to sleep, you usually grab your dildo from the third draw down and finish yourself off. This usually soils the bedding and it needs to be washed, you can try rolling over to get out of the wet patch, but the patch is usually so big you'll fall out of bed. 83.170.93.54 00:16, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
