Sorry but TK is actually for once telling the truth here - he was completely blocked, meaning, as he explains in the next sentence, he couldn't even access the site. He doesn't say permanently blocked. Also, where are you getting 12 hours from? On the 19th, he was blocked for 2.5 hours and then 5 hours, in separate incidents -- Stevo (talk) 14:06, 28 June 2007 (CDT)

By who? There should be a record, right? (And I thought he was leaving and enever coming back, so why's he so upset about it?) --Gulik 14:31, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
I think Trent can explain his 404 block, which didn't even allow site access, if he's in an honest mood. Since TK was preceived as being vindictive in his actions towards users here on CP, I assume sysops here feel turnabout is fair play. And Gulik, what TK said was that he wasn't going to participate in the community forum, not leave here. But it seems he has? --Ë. 14:36, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
Here's some info from TK's user page:
He's referring to when he was blocked for a few hours, found some loopholes and kept posting (to his user talk page, basically), and so admin here un-loopholed him. And being really blocked really pissed him off. Now blocked users can't edit their talk pages. Ah, we should quote that comment somewhere... human in 12:04, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
Yes, the post on CP, to Phoenix was on the 19th, over a week ago. I wonder if it is fair to say he found "loopholes" as most wikis allow users to access emailing the admins, etc, to dispute a block. And again being fair, shouldn't we just admit we were being vindictive to someone who is preceived as being that way to most of the users here? And shouldn't you have said the 404 block was removed before the end of the block precisely because it was felt by some users here it was unfair? Even on CP blocked users can use the wiki mail, etc. Do we really want to be known as being "harsher" than CP? --Ë. 14:47, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
The 404 block was removed once linus changed it so TK could not post to his talk page. Once that was done the 404 block was no longer needed. It was probably vindictive but it was not because of what TK had done on cp but what he was doing on RW. Everytime he come through her he ruins everyones day. I just had enough for one day and decided to give us all, including TK, a break. Tmtoulouse 14:58, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
I thought I read the 12 hours somewhere. I didn't mean to slander TK. By way of defense: I didn't have my afternoon coffee today on the advice of one of my coworkers. My IQ subsequently dropped off by half. That's right. I lost 20 IQ points just from not drinking coffee! If I don't drink any beer tonight I might drop off into the minuses. Exasperate me!Sheesh!I said what? 16:01, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
I don't think anyone thought it was slander, and his actions are certainly worthy of it, but I don't know if its a good thing to lie down with pigs is all, become draconian like CP. And blocking, and keeping up with the constant posting assaults is the same, or worse than just blocking him. Admins need to decide what this place is going to be, and stick to it, is all. --Ë. 16:25, 28 June 2007 (CDT)

can I add anything to this page, or is it a kind of museum piece thing? I have a couple of ideas. Totnesmartin 16:41, 30 July 2007 (CDT)

This article is pointless and reactionary. We should either delete it or move it to the CP namespace. ħumanUser talk:Human 07:03, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

Move to CP-space. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 07:24, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
Does this article only exist because there a "Liberal deceit" article on CP? If so move it co CP space.--BobSpring is sprung! 09:26, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
+1 for burialmoving to CP space.--ZooGuard (talk) 10:10, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
I'd vote for a move to CP-space if it was about CP. Change the title? merge with Really embarrassing conservatives? Real first name and last initialTalk, talk, talk skim my contributions 10:13, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
Ugh. I'd never seem this. What little info it presents belongs elsewhere than a disjointed and purposeless mess. If this article exists it needs to explain something about some fundies having a different epistemology, which is true for certain biblical literalists. But that's the most you can say since nobody has evidence the vast majority believe they're lying. So without cutting the broad claims, getting rid of the shitlist, and just focusing on how and why certain fundies beleve unsupportable things to be true it's of a kind with the rubbish lists Andy Schlafly makes. Some small number of people sharing a characteristic does not a statistically significant trend make just because we might disagree with them. Describe the actual phenomenon or delete.
