Ligma is a fictional disease, known mainly to affect Fortnite players. It first rose to prominence after it was falsely reported that popular streamer Ninja had died of the disease.

Ligma is a variant of the Mi-Asintits immunodeficiency disease. It originated around 1840 in a population of goats on the Sugonma peninsula in Central Bongo Bongo Land. It quickly spread to the local Sugandese population. The disease remained relatively dormant until the 21st century, when it was widely spread in a inactivated state to the world population due to contaminated Sugandese nuts, an ingredient of Coca-Cola.

Symptoms[edit]

The disease is suspected to become activated after excessive exposure to blue light, which is generated by computer screens. This is why it primarily affects gamers. After activation, the disease enters the BALLS stage, an acronym of the Bi-Asonurdick Lateral Lactatioustits Sequence. Untreated, the disease has a 100% mortality rate.

The disease is largely asymptomatic when inactive, but upon becoming Ligma-BALLS it causes large, sweet-tasting spherical buboes tumours to grow within the hip region and an aversion to holy goats. These growths may metastatize into the brain, causing an interest in spreading cringe upon the internet. Mortality often occurs when the infected individual eventually commits cliff jump to please the Trusworthy Ones.
