This is really not a very good page[edit]

Ill-supported personal essay. Should it be here? - David Gerard (talk) 14:18, 18 August 2018 (UTC)

@David Gerard In terms of it being impartial, it's not fantastic. Unless you think you can do better, I'd suggest leaving it alone, through most if not all of the Communist pages are terrible because most people editing them have no idea about what they are editing, so this isn't a special case by any means. That is a active problem and is being fixed by me, one by one. Again, if you can, try improving it. Click Link Or Gulag (talk) 22:22, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
see, I think "do better" or "improving it" would include deleting it. I was hoping someone would make a case against that, and you're not even bothering to do so - David Gerard (talk) 08:11, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Deleting the page isn't making anything better. I love how you complain that the page is pretty bad, but then don't want to help make it better or even modify the formatting a bit. Expected behavior at this point, most of you lot don't have a academic or pragmatic bone in your body. You want it to look/sound better? Fix it. I do enough crap around these pages as it is. Stop being so rude. The response being "why don't you do it" and derisive, condescending off-handed comments (especially the uncalled for "expected behavior"; "most of you lot" remark) is not a polite or helpful defense of the article, failing to address the criticism in the first place, as a tu quoque argument. If you want to ask for specific clarification for David Gerard's claims, then ask nicely and he'll give a response, and it'll be helpful not for only you, but for other readers. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png LeftyGreenMario! 17:15, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

This page doesn't understand what revisionism is[edit]

To make a long story short, revisionism in a Marxist context refers to ideas of class peace. The pre-eminent revisionist would be Berstein, and social democracy as a whole is the prime example of revisionism. Marxism itself is very dynamic and, as a scientific discipline, adapts to new evidence. The introduction comes off as very childish. Folköl (talk) 19:58, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
