Fun:Creationist Fundie Ranking

This is a ranking of creationist organizations, ranging from the least overtly religious, to the most.

1. Discovery Institute - Know enough to never directly mention God (except in private communications), and stayed away from Dover knowing that it was too overtly religious. Are willing at least to give lip-service to the idea of an Old Earth, and accept that natural selection occurs.

2. Creation Ministries International - A group that broke away from Answers in Genesis on account of Ken Ham being too heavy-handed. Unlike most creationist organizations, use presuppositionalism instead of evidentialism, meaning that they do not try to prove creationism by evidence. More moderate in tone than most creationist groups, probably because they are based outside the United States.

3. Answers in Genesis - Led by Ken Ham, openly quote the bible, but make some effort to use science. Called bullshit on Kent Hovind, because his arguments were even dumber than theirs, and they thought the $250,000 Challenge was a stupid publicity stunt.

4. Creation Science Evangelism - Formerly led by Kent Hovind, now by Eric Hovind. Quote bible, but attempt to incorporate science into their arguments. Lower than CMI/AiG mainly because their understanding of science is even worse, and because Hovind can't even make up his mind whether he believes in natural selection or not [1].

5. Way of the Master - Led by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron. Thinks a banana proves the existence of a designer. Failing to realize that there WAS a designer...HUMANS. Completely open about religious nature of their message.
