  1. its essentially not a list of countries where holocaust denial is legal, its its a list of all countries minus the few the where it is illegal. its a ridiculous waste of space AMassiveGay (talk) 16:31, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
  2. Reminds me of those USA maps where it's "legal to kill a person for being trans", whereas in reality it just means that they didn't make the trans panic defense illegal yet (probably simply because it wasn't used or because the trans panic defense has failed to work for over a decade now). In other words; it's a somewhat weird, if oblique political setpiece that doesn't fit the site. Nuke it from orbit. -- Techpriest (talk) 21:46, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

  5. For having the Faroe Islands and not Greenland. Epic Games (talk) 22:11, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
For the record, I did remove the Faroe Islands. Andrew5 (talk) 22:31, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
  6. Purposeless, I can't imagine a time where the contents of this article would be useful armed_roomba (she/her)What am I doing wrong this time? 00:25, 28 January 2022 (UTC)

  8. It's also completely unreferenced. Spud (talk) 13:07, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
  9. Now that all the information is merged, a seperate article is unnecessary. Andrew5 (talk) 15:44, 28 January 2022 (UTC)

This could be funspaced or (possibly) essayspaced. I don't like that's it in mainspace, but I don't think total deletion is a good idea and this is a feesible comprimise. Andrew5 (talk) 22:08, 27 January 2022 (UTC) Switching vote per discussion vote. Andrew5 (talk) 15:44, 28 January 2022 (UTC)

Funspace... wha. What about this is funny. And no, essayspacing tends to be for articles that have value (see Essay:Sunday school environmentalism) but don't exactly fit the site itself. This listicle is largely hogwash. -- Techpriest (talk) 22:34, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
We have voted to keep funspace articles that aren't quite funny, like RationalWiki:Articles for deletion/Fun:George Soros or RationalWiki:Articles for deletion/Fun:Michelle Obama's arms. Now the 2021 capital riot charges was similar to this, and was deleted in a 15-14-2 vote, which could set precedent, though. Andrew5 (talk) 22:43, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
We don't exactly do precedent with afds... Also both of those articles are extremely funny what are you on about. -- Techpriest (talk) 22:48, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
To be fair, according to Bob, funspace is mainly to have fun. But this probably work better in essayspace, because similar articles were essayspaced, albeit the 2021 capital charges one was not. It could also be merged with Holocaust denial, but I'd be sketpical of that given how that's a gold.Andrew5 (talk) 23:00, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
what exactly do think that makes this article worth keeping? what is it that you think has any worth in this article that isnt a list of all countries minus 13 or isnt already in the holocaust denial article? sure, funspace it. essayspace it. whatever you like. try justifying its existence first. AMassiveGay (talk) 23:39, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
This would be similar to something like User:Andrew5/My notable storms (which btw is not complete yet). Should not have been in mainspace. Now I can't userspace it as many have worked on it, but this is something that could reasonably be an essay. Maybe not funspace. Also, the article can be re-written to write a point of view on these countries. It's almost at essayspace quality: where it belongs. Andrew5 (talk) 01:28, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
i note that your answer does not answer my question. AMassiveGay (talk) 10:51, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
This indicates countries where Holocaust denial is legal and illegal and that information isn’t anywhere else on RW. Andrew5 mobile (talk) 11:36, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
thats arse. there are 195 countries in the world. 13 of whom seem holocaust denial is illegal in some way. this is a list of those 195 minus the 13. do you not see the problem here? its complete arse. AMassiveGay (talk) 12:29, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
True but it also isn’t mentioned at all on RW. Andrew5 mobile (talk) 12:37, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
that kind of pedantry is easily fixed by one simple edit to holocaust denial page. justify this article. AMassiveGay (talk) 12:51, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
True, but it's a gold (The denial article), so it is risky. Andrew5 (talk) 13:09, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
it isnt and its done. AMassiveGay (talk) 15:41, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
Ok, AMG, I'll flip my vote now that it's redundant. Also, I was mainly scared because for some reason, when I'm not referencing articles I crash them. Andrew5 (talk) 15:44, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
