Silver?[edit]

I like this. Anything keeping it from silver? - David Gerard (talk) 23:38, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

Quote marks around quotations? ħumanUser talk:Human 10:46, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Should have them or shouldn't? I think shouldn't, blockquoting or cquoting sets them off enough - David Gerard (talk) 12:21, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Time crystals[edit]

Came across a scientific reference to this (it did not say whether the proponent had a model Tardis to hand) - a theoretical concept in which time is one of the component 'directions' of crystal structure. Until 'captured' by the creatives of the crystal woo persuasion to be treated as a mathematical exercise and so harmless. 212.85.6.26 (talk) 15:34, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

A link to your scientific reference would b even more interesting.--BobSpring is sprung! 15:47, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Passing mention in a newspaper (Gruaniad/Times). 'As a concept for mathematicians to play around with' (or Dr Who and other time travel fiction McGuffin-explanations) it makes a sort of sense. 212.85.6.26 (talk) 16:38, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Link?--BobSpring is sprung! 18:52, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Here it is, from the Grauniad ('tis traditional to variably mis-spell the name) [1] 212.85.6.26 (talk) 19:19, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

If I had the patience would develop a MacGuffin theory involving time crystals, branes, entropy bubbles (something like 'coin operated boil in the bag hand warmers' - which give off heat as they turn to crystal) shunted between brane levels/pushed into the 'depth' (? whatever complex-space=time the branes exist in) and suchlike backstory for SF time travel. 82.44.143.26 (talk) 16:04, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

Will add [2] and [3]; the boil-in-the-bags are [4] and elsewhere. 82.44.143.26 (talk) 18:56, 1 February 2017 (UTC)

And the other place article is here. Anna Livia (talk) 17:47, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

More pictures of crystals[edit]

This article definitely needs some kind of a picture of asbestos included! I mean, why not sell it as an all natural healing crystal too? 2001:999:61:1DFA:3E00:102:EC88:2A (talk) 11:01, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
