Description[edit]

On the left hand side, Aschlafly's Best Conservative Words from 1600 until 2000 are seen, classified by the decade of their origin (as stated by Aschlafly himself): The first column represents the words created from 1600-1609, 1700-1709, 1800-1809, 1900-1909 (these subdivisions are indicated by the colors).

If Andy's law holds, it should be mimicked by the decades, indeed, one can calculate a theoretical distribution - shown on the right hand side.

An easy χ2-test demonstrates, that the hypotheses the empirical distribution matches the theoretical one can be discarded with a certainty of 95%.
