  1. As this stubby article itself states, "British eccentrics" means people who are harmless in spite of being a bit weird. For me, the phrase "Great British eccentrics" conjures up images of people who are not only harmless but also lovely and cuddly. Those are not the kind of loonies we are concerned with here. 2. Delete, as per Spud. Bongolian (talk) 06:35, 13 September 2016 (UTC)

Perhaps there could be a generic 'eccentrics/eccentricity etc' page - people who are 'at a greater angle to reality than average' but who are mostly not #intentionally# dangerous (See 'Last of the Summer Wine' for generic eccentricity).

Going by [1] eccentricity probably describes persons who are 'borderline RW' (the equivalent of the Darwin Award's Honourable Mentions). 82.44.143.26 (talk) 16:09, 13 September 2016 (UTC)

Looks like funspace material to me. Needs more Fifth Duke of Portland though. BicyclewheelToxic mowse.gif 17:32, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
It seems to be a primarily British phenomenon - see [2] and [3]. 82.44.143.26 (talk) 18:28, 13 September 2016 (UTC)

  1. Whether or not this stays, Stanley Green and Bill Boakes certainly appear missional and deserve their own articles. Totallynotharambe (talk) 06:56, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
