2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Right, so, you might have come here from my essay about God's true home: the moon. As lunar theists, while this is the centre of our religious beliefs, we also believe in theotechnology: that God's use of spiritual magic is in fact linked to holy technology used by Him, which for us, as a result of Clarke's third law, appears to be magic.

God has crafted Himself many technological devices that He can use to watch over us on the Earth, such as his Early Second Coming system, which lets him pick the right time to send himself to Earth, in human form (the first coming, Jesus, was a result of this new technology).
