What about public defenders?[edit]

- I thought that wwas resolved by Gideon v. Wainwright. Anyway, if that's true, they're just doing the same thing with Roe v. Wade. I'd be glad to accept any contributions if you want to add to the article. Pbfreespace3 (talk) 22:08, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
- Well one of the things the Miranda-warning clearly says is that a public defender has to be provided for free. In many cases, people have been charged for the services of a public defender. In addition to that, public defenders are often overworked and undermotivated which makes an efficient defense unlikely. And a defense that is just going through the motions is not much of a defense at all. Pizzameister (talk) 18:54, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
