Forum:Does anybody know what this is about?
I have found a picture of different levels of being a conspiracy theorist or something like that and at the very bottom was something called the "despair code". I decided to look that up and I found a Reddit thread pretty much asking the same question. Here's the thread. Some guy on the thread said this:
"It's much more complicated than I can explain, but the idea is basically, it is an extremely accurate and detailed system that keeps some groups and individuals prolonged feeling of sadness, fear and

- I decided to look up the words and numbers he found and this is what I came across:
- Educate-yourself (on a side note I love the irony of that website's name)
- God Like productions
- Some wiki, the language is Hungarian but I don't know what the name of the wiki is in English
- Do you guys know what any of this is about? You reckon this is some sort of Crankerry? This seems a bit terrifying but that's probably me... Again...--WeakMindedSkeptic (talk) 21:55, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hmmm... Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is something about mind control and people being mind controlled? Apparently this (this one is unsettling and very damn weird), this and this is "proof" that celebrities are under mind control or robots or something because they have a "glitch" or they do something weird. What do you lot think? Can you guys help me debunk this? Also do we have an article on this? Because if we don't maybe we should? I'm not gonna lie, those clips are really damn creepy and I don't know what to think of them.--WeakMindedSkeptic (talk) 22:13, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
On a side note, there's this new conspiracy theory or a joke conspiracy or woo something starting called The despair code from what I have seen it has started on Reddit or 4chan and it seems to be picking up. People are saying peculiar stuff about it. Looks like we might be seeing the birth of a new conspiracy theory (if it's not a joke). How exciting.--WeakMindedSkeptic (talk) 03:45, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
- It seems like some kind of rehash of the MKULTRA conspiracy theories about mind control, using the internet as some kind of medium to send "codes" into people's brains in order to make them despair or something. It's not really a new strain of thought in the conspiracy-minded. The Hungarian wiki seems to be roughly translated to "Rectifiers Wiki", which is apparently dedicated to mind control conspiracy theories. Nothing to get too worked up about. - Oh ok, that's reassuring. I still find that Brittney Spears video really weird and mind boggling. It's good to know that this is just a rehash of the MKULTRA woo.--WeakMindedSkeptic (talk) 16:02, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
Finally, someone made a video about "The despair Code" conspiracy theories! Here's the vid. Any opinions? Worthy a page or not yet?--WeakMindedSkeptic (talk) 17:14, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
