Croatian Wikipedia[edit]

Can we have some permanent "oldid" links (the "Trajna poveznica" link under "Alati" if you don't know how to get 'em) and/or difflinks as citations please? Peter Monomorium antarcticum 01:48, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

OK. But, what proof you need for second sentence? --Max Sterling (talk) 01:57, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Somebody proposing a "sane" (however you intend to define it) position, and encountering opposition from the sysops you mention, would cut it. Peter Monomorium antarcticum 02:00, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Well, I couldn't find an example of users who oppose them (would it be wise to single out a user, so he can me (more) harassed in future?), but in past there were. Few of them find wiki-asylum on Serbo-Croatian Wikipedia. --Max Sterling (talk) 02:09, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
If you find a record of an old conversation, that would work. I don't know if anyone would notice our linking to a user's comment enough to harass them, would they? Peter Monomorium antarcticum 02:13, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

I found something better on English

Those look quite good, thank you. Can you also get permalinks to the pages (eg the Jasenovac concentration camp one) that you mention so that even if they were changed later the links would still go to the 'bad' version? Peter Monomorium antarcticum 02:35, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

I will. --Max Sterling (talk) 02:37, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

I forgot: Definition of sane user: whoever oppose(s/d) facts mentioned in the article. Btw, this section should be on coutry? Does article on a wikipedia fells in scope of this project? --Max Sterling (talk) 03:34, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

The only other place I could go would be the Wikipedia article, but a so many countries have this problem on their own wikipedias, I think it'd b best if we stick them in the country articles, which could do with more RationalWiki-type stuff. Sophiebecause liberals 09:34, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Disgraceful Article, akin to conservapedia[edit]

This article is about a whole nation of people, yet virtually the entire article is devoted to slagging it off. Around 2/3 of the Article is on its wikipedia site(On an article about a nation of 4,000,000 people), even though we do not see this being written about serbia's wikipedia site,Thannad (talk) 02:32, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Copyediting[edit]

This definitely needs some, though I'm not even going to touch the hr.wikipedia diatribe. I'm also somewhat nervous of mangling the truthiness in the process of editing, so I thought I'd put my proposed rewrite of the Political Parties section here before adding it:

  • Social Democratic Party (SDP) - A centre-left party; senior partner in the ruling coalition since the 2011 elections.
  • Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) - A centre-right party (though previously quite strongly right-wing) that was the ruling party from independence to 1999 and from 2003-2011; lost the 2011 election after many corruption scandals.
  • Croatian People's Party (HNS) - Views similar to SDP but more fiscally conservative.
  • Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) - A right-wing ethnocentric party crippled by internal feuds which have inspired the creation of several parties with derivative names e.g. "Croatian Pure Party of Rights"

Thoughts? Comments? Or should I just Be Bold? Hydrogen and Time (talk) 20:57, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

The situation with the HSP sounds ideal for a Monty Python reference :D ("Splitters!").--ZooGuard (talk) 21:23, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
I was pondering that possibility. Hydrogen and Time (talk) 00:49, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

For senior editors[edit]

What do You think, should section about hr.wikimoved in separate article? They are really on good road to become new Conservapedia. --Max Sterling (talk) 07:28, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Croatian Party of Right[edit]

"there are fer parties with name Croatian Party of Right + some suffix. What is "fer"? SophieWilder 11:19, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
