Essay[edit]
I almost feel like writing an essay about how wonderful divorce is, and why people need to have access to it. Researcher 10:43, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Daily Beast Article[edit]
The daily beast article referenced in the last paragraph of the No-Fault Divorce section only has two comments from 2 weeks and one month ago. Anyone object to me removing the comment about the supposed extreme length of the comment page, or should I just add that the comment page was deleted at some point? No fault divorce[edit]
"Ironically, many of her actions that she so proudly writes about might be considered as long-term abuse towards her husband. Furthermore, her actions may indicate a narcissistic and/or borderline personality -- which may have been what drove her husband away from her in the first place. Her obsessive actions illustrate why no-fault divorce is an unfortunate necessity."
Why would the husband need no-fault divorce if her abusive behavior was what drove him away? That suggests that she was at fault, and therefore there would have been grounds for divorce. Men's Rights EXTREMIST (talk) 06:40, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
- Added by a BoN in 2010. It's unclear why they decided that it should be in the article in the first place. I took it out.
- As for your quibble, you are missing the part that "might be considered as long-term abuse" is the interpretation of the author, not necessarily something that would hold up in court per the legislation in force at that time and place.--ZooGuard (talk) 10:32, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
