Where's the criticism of Annie Leonard's blatant fabrications in her "story of stuff" videos?— Unsigned, by: 134.193.112.148 / talk / contribs

I dunno. Feel free to add it, if you feel it is missing. The Spikey Punk I'm punking my punk! 04:59, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Verification[edit]

In his interview with Thunderf00t he said that, while not agreeing with creationists about a lot of religious things, he would rather be ruled by them than liberals; since at least they recognize that his rights come from God rather than the collective, and thus can't be taken away. Apparently he isn't concerned about rights such as the right to marry who you choose, the right to control your own body, the right to burn a piece of fabric sewn in a symbolic manner to make a political statement, the right to live your life unharassed by the religious beliefs of others, the right to not have your money used for religious activities you don't agree with, the right to protest military decisions of the government in places where you're visible to the media, and various other "rights" he personally doesn't intend to use.

Can we verify/source the bold please? I've only managed to find verification for the first sentence (on one of his YT videos). One of the reasons I ask is because these are conservative, not libertarian positions. AWelsh 02:09, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Move/Rename[edit]

This has been changed from an article about a YouTube channel to an article about a person. Why was a change this large not discussed? - π 10:44, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Well most of the article was about the person and his beliefs and activities not only on Youtube, but elsewhere. For example, on the other sites listed in the artice, Lee Doren didn't go by "HTWW".--ElvisHairDude420 (talk) 10:56, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Lee's history[edit]

Lee recently sent out a video about how he was a liberal initially and changed his views as he got older. Should we add that into the article?

Yes. ТyTalk. 14:35, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Unsourced Material[edit]

A Google search turned up this link regarding Amherst college. This link makes the entire final paragraph as written false and should not be included. According to the official college website, the course was offered. Will revert to original in one week. FlyingSMonster (talk) 03:52, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

No, it makes the entire last paragraph slightly incorrect. I've corrected it. End of. Sophiebecause liberals 08:47, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
The quote should be "Taking Marx Seriously is a course..." not "Marx Seriously is a course..." The link goes directly to "Taking Marx Seriously." To use the phrase "is just an outright lie" is false based on the link. Again, I will undo the paragraph in one week because the statement is false. FlyingSMonster (talk) 15:07, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
But it does say Taking Marx Seriously. Learn to read before you make your idiotic allegations. Sophiebecause liberals 16:29, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
It is alleged that "Taking Marx Seriously" is not taught there when it says "is just an outright lie." That is provably false based on the link. That was the whole purpose of the paragraph. FlyingSMonster (talk) 17:32, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Loving the irony of "RationalWiki" where an irrational user makes irrationally rude statements in the talk page of an article and maliciously abuses the fossil record by preserving the outright lie of a declaration of outright lie. I reverted his/her reversion of your reversion. 91.238.215.137 (talk) 03:03, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
