2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Concerns about it remaining bronze.[edit]

As discussed at RationalWiki:Articles for demotion/Cold War, it is unacceptable to have Wikipedia references be prolific in an article, and should be at a very low level.

However, in this article, there are 89 references, of which 26 are Wikipedia. That's ~29%. I personally don't think it should remain bronze with this much of a reliance on Wikipedia, unless substantially fixed, but I'll open it up for discussion for other people's opinions. --Andrew5 (talk) 21:28, 19 December 2021 (UTC)

It's fine. If this is at bronze, it's not a big deal. Silver, that's another story. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png LeftyGreenMario! 21:37, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
Should this maybe be put into RationalWiki:Article rating or be discussed at it's respective talk page? --Andrew5 (talk) 21:41, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
No action needs to be taken. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png LeftyGreenMario! 21:41, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
