Slur Find from the Book[edit]
In the slur find on pg 178, it says that there is no slurs but I found the word Polack (third row from the bottom).--Nate River 22:42, 12 January 2009 (EST)
- And that means? ħuman 23:25, 12 January 2009 (EST)
- Polack, among other spellings, is a derogatorily term/ethnic slur against people of Polish descent.Ever see All in the Family?--Nate River 23:50, 12 January 2009 (EST)
- Sure, I get that, but how did what you said above help me find that? Do I need to buy Stevie's book to follow you? ħuman 00:12, 13 January 2009 (EST)
- Yeah. On pg 178, there is a word search puzzle where Stevie asks you to look for racial slurs. The upside-down answer says there is none, and calls the reader a racist if they see any.--Nate River 01:01, 13 January 2009 (EST)
- I bet there are more... does that not strike you as perhaps being a joke rather than an error? ħuman 13:23, 13 January 2009 (EST)
- I came to a similar conclusion. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed. I googled it and nothing came up. I'm guessing blind faith.--Nate River 19:47, 13 January 2009 (EST)
- Is there a copy of the "puzzle" on line anywhere? How about at that truthiness wiki? ħuman 20:12, 13 January 2009 (EST)
- I could send you a scan or just rewrite it here--Nate River 01:30, 14 January 2009 (EST)
- My email is enabled, that would be cool, thanks! ħuman 01:53, 14 January 2009 (EST)
- It work?--Nate River 19:03, 14 January 2009 (EST)
- I undeleted the one you uploaded to look at it, thanks. It's, um, loaded with "racial slurs" ;) ħuman 19:22, 14 January 2009 (EST)

Never really looked myself. I took it on a blind faith basis and continued reading.--Nate River 20:48, 14 January 2009 (EST) Words I have found so far: Spade, Chink, Bohunk, Twinkie, Coolie, Redneck, Wetback, Darky and Polack. Colbert is a hilarious asshole!
