Creative Visualization[edit]

Something I've noticed lacking from this article is the concept of creative visualization, something proponed by Shakti Gawain (as well as others--the two WP articles don't link to each other) that smacks of new age and other psychic woo and whatnot, worthwhile here? or elsewhere? -- Seth Peck (talk) 22:59, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

Law of attraction[edit]

Isn't this just Law of attraction under a different name?

I think this "wanting it bad enough" is more in the vein of "you can do anything if you believe in yourself", which runs off the logic: 1. If you don't believe in yourself, you won't try hard enough. 2. If you try hard enough, you will succeed. 3. Thus you must believe in yourself, then you will automatically try and work hard and thus secure success.
This of course has its merits as well as its limits. Nullahnung (talk) 20:35, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

This ain't true, because I've wished and prayed and nothing has happened[edit]

After all, if wishing hard enough made it so, I would have been a girl already, but I'm not because I'm a boy, so this pile of nonsense is nothing more than a mere trick, a boring con. Why wasn't I born a girl? I don't know, as I am not God. I've wished and wished to be a girl, and so far nothing has happened. According to these snake oil salesmen, I've not wished hard enough. That is rather amusing, but I've wished hard enough for it to come true according to what these snake-oil-salesmen say, so that could happen. But in the end it is nothing more than a mere fantasy, just as magic is. Shame, for me at least, because I want to be a girl, but I'm a boy. 2.98.95.105 (talk) 17:48, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

You are not alone. Far from it. But you can be a girl. --91.7.17.68 (talk) 16:48, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
