Uh, if it links here, we should explain the C is NN here? — Unsigned, by: Human / talk / contribs

I believe that this can be used in a meta-humour way, rather than saying a citation is needed, we simply say "Citation NOT needed", as in for facts the world should know, logical assumptions, etc.— Unsigned, by: Javascap / talk / contribs
I should have put my comment on the talk page. Just say what you just said, here, so people know what we mean.— Unsigned, by: Human / talk / contribs

Time for deletion?[edit]

It’s an ancient relic from the old RationalWiki, and not in a good way. All it does is lower the quality of articles it’s in and there’s a lot better ways now to make snarky edits. Not low quality ones with “citation NOT needed” plastered over obvious shit. 2607:FB90:3919:8DDB:94EA:FA84:E065:6031 (talk) 23:47, 5 September 2025 (UTC)

I would like to keep it. If done well it can punctuate certain sentences well. Chillpilled (talk) 14:50, 28 September 2025 (UTC)
