RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2019.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Donations so far: $3900Goal: $6000

Founder of Tyneside Linux User Group, and believer in the protection of human rights and freedoms (although we should acknowledge our responsibilities as vehemently). This includes software freedom. I'm a member of Amnesty International, and a goth.

Was once a born again Christian for about ten years (until about ten years ago). Haven't come out to my (born again) family on that score yet. I'm not sure how they'd react to my atheism; probably with fasting and prayer for my salvation. I do feel that I have a rare perspective of both sides of the "religious debate", although I still can't actually explain why I was Christian.

I have a slide rule collection. I enjoy photography and chocolate. I love my wife, and I love space ships. Oh, and railways.
