There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |

User:ConverginglyRational
I love rationality, but I too am only human (or am I a highly advanced robot that's just tricking you?), so I'm really trying to be rational, mainly when it matters, but obviously I probably am not always, but am always trying to improve. Hence the username.
My main background and areas of interest (and so areas you could ask me to help write or review articles on) lie in: engineering and physics in general, computer science, mathematics, logic, philosophy of science, epistemology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, philosophy of mathematics, analytical philosophy and philosophy in general.
(I'm aware those are slightly rare combos, but yes, really, so far I have at least some uni background in both engineering and philosophy.)
I'm not brave enough for politics.
However I don't want to end up a desert-hobo in an authoritarian galactic empire, so I'm trying to read and learn and engage with that subject too bit by bit.
I'll stick to writing and talking about things I know more about though, I won't ignorantly engage in socio-politico-economical discussions in the Saloon bar for example.
