These stats seem a bit flawed. For a more accurate comparison shouldn't it compare both married and non-married heterosexual couples to non-married (and married, if Massachusetts has any such statistics yet) homosexual couples? One could read these statistics as evidence that marriage decreases the rates of violence between couples, which one could use as an argument for legalized gay marriage. I'd just like to put my two cents in... This is one of those pages that will ruin Conservapedia's reputation if it isn't properly done. Are the statistics based on violence towards the person or from the person? That kind of pertinent detail should be included. Illuminated 23:56, 2 October 2007 (EDT)

Question, are the studies on that FRC page reliable? Take a look at this, Somehow I don't see fidelity being maintained by 75 percent of men DLerner 08:08, 13 March 2008 (EDT)

The source link is out of date. It leads only to a page with 'The item that you requested is no longer available.' on it. Since I've some bandwidth restrictions I've been unable to find the correct link. Could someone update it please? JacobSmith 23:52, 24 June 2011 (EDT)

I've procured a cache of the page where the "study" was discussed.--CamilleT 00:06, 25 June 2011 (EDT)

Nowhere in the cited source is any information presented to affirm the percentage for "Married Women" in the chart. It clearly states in the study that 30.4 percent of women were abused by Intimate Partner Violence. This graphic is highly flawed. "EllenT 22:08, 17 August 2011 (EDT)"
