081005:

Over the last eight years, the Bush Administration has mouthed the words of being pro-life and anti-gay to get conservatives on board, whereupon they proceeded to grow the government faster and larger than Clinton ever dreamed. $860 billion to bring democracy to Iraq. $1,200 billion for a prescription drug benefit. And now $700 billion more to buy up all of Wall Street's bad paper and preserve the status quo. What happens if Iran or North Korea attack, or Russia invades Ukraine? We won't have two cents to rub together.

0801002:

What demands brought about human intelligence? Why didn't beavers go from dam-building to great cities long ago? Wolf packs have greater natural selection pressures than apes picking berries. On the great tree of life why did the Homo Sapiens twig wake up? Any other animal preceding us as a civilization would have tapped all the oil. We know we're the first. It took 4.6 billion years to get here. How long to the next civilized species after we're gone? If evolution is without purpose, intelligence must be an accident. The dinosaurs were tried once, but evolution stumbled on. Can any species claim to be the peak of blind, continuing forces?

Totalitarian Collectivism

The Theocratic State

The Environmentalist Utopia

Classical Liberalism

When people take those little quizzes that plot their politics on a grid, they don't cluster at four points, but end up scattered to hell and gone like my own pattern with an M-14 at 200 yards. The four points are just where the vocal extremists lie:

Thou shalt not covet (0%-100%)

Thou shalt not kill (0%-100%)

  • If you have 0% coveting and 0% killing, you believe the rich should keep their money and we should not fight wars or execute people (Taoist).
  • If you have 100% coveting and 0% killing, you believe the rich should be taxed to help the poor, and we should not fight wars or execute people (Liberal).
  • If you have 0% coveting and 100% killing, you believe the rich should keep their money and we should fight wars and execute people (Conservative).
  • If you have 100% coveting and 100% killing, you believe the rich should be taxed to help the poor, and we should fight wars and execute people (Communist China).

In her previous, sinful life, Francine Peters was a brown-skinned Taoist lesbian with a vaguely Hispanic name who first joined RationalWiki in the summer of 2007 when there were only a handful of humorous articles poking fun at conservatives. After more than a year on sabbatical, Francine returned to RationalWiki and was overjoyed to connect again with her old friends there.

Unfortunately, it was no longer the same RW. She uploaded a picture of detainees at Guantanamo Bay for the concentration camp article, and this was immediately smacked down for being blatant anti-Bush propaganda harmful to the minds of homeschoolers who must use RationalWiki as their sole window on the internet. Francine went batshit crazy and started burning bridges before she came to them, roaring down the fast lane of the eight-lane superhighway to hell.

Francine the reformed user

By the grace of God, the Holy Spirit convicted her heart and she was brought to the foot of the cross. Francine accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and she began her new life. The first order of the day was to come out of her filthy lesbian lifestyle and become a white chick. Now that she has conformed her path to the RationalWiki mission she hopes to make a new start.
