There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |

While I was blocked from registering I posted this topic [[1]]
Original research[edit]
I wanted to join rationalwiki because it allows sharing original research; and that matters to me because I am self-taught thinker/researcher into social problems and possible solutions.
This is the home for me[edit]
RationalWiki is Original Research (copied slightly reformatted from):
These are collaborative essays as much as they are articles.
- RationalWiki is not an attempt to be a repository of knowledge that has already been written.
- This means that collection and synthesis of sources into new ideas is actively encouraged.
- While references are always desired, writers should feel free to draw conclusions not clearly stated in a source, and
feel free to synthesize multiple sources into a new pattern — although others may then argue.
- Writers should feel free to offer commentary and analysis that is outside their sources, providing they can explain it well.
They should feel free to slant the content (but not the facts) towards the goals of our site.
- There are a wide variety of writing styles, from the deadly serious to outright sarcasm, that can be used in order to make points clear.
At the Saloon Bar I have introduced myself as academic orphan, being self-taught explorer of understanding of deep rooted social problems. Thus I am attracted to the deadly serious end of the style spectrum.
One of my pet ambitions is to expose the dominant economic paradigm as one of the most socially harmful of pseudo sciences.
Orthodox Economics — the socially harmful pseudoScience[edit]
*A more robust label should replace harmful
- In the Saloon bar a poll is posted: It's the end of the world as we know it. Do you feel fine?
- Well, call Orthodox economics to the dock at the bar of public opinion.
An agenda[edit]
I want to write a critical essay to denounce the dominant economic model that justifies an economic system that is designed to exploit society instead of serving it.
In last half century this system got even more sociopathic by becoming a finance-driven enterprise--finance exploiting the economy which in turn exploits society.
Three source books will guide the construction of the essay:
