2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Hi I have a PhD in applied math and have no idea what I am doing. So currently my mission is to save the world from climate crisis and environmental destruction. So I am a newborn ecologist and environmentalist. I am over 50. I have always cared about nature. When I was a kid my dad took me to a little patch of old-growth forest. I remember a tree that had fallen over and was left to rot naturally and it had amazing life in it, various beetles and fungi and ants, etc. Dad warned me it would be destroyed by developers who always want to build, build, build. It was, at some point. I can't find it any more.

Arguments about theology are dumb at the root. Atheists could define God as the universe and then argue interpretations and statements about God. Religions seem to interpret God too narrowly in many cases.
