Neil DeGrasse Tyson quote[edit]
Lookie here, your quote has already been added to the far more relevant article: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Ibn_al-Haytham
So please, stop trying to edit war it into the summary of the Science article. Thanks in advance. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 23:32, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
- You haven't convinced me. By the way Science article gets more views. How about that. 198.16.164.205 (talk) 00:11, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- I don't have to convince you. You're unregistered and I'm a sysop. Keeping in mind I'm not even the one who has been reverting your edits. I highly recommend you register and join the community if you expect any chance of being able to demand priviliged edits. And obviously, an article on Science as a whole gets more views than an article on any person related to science. And the article on Philosophy gets more views than the article on Bertrand Russel. Regardless, that only amounts to an argumentum ad populum. And why do you think that is? An important reason the Science article gets more views is the fact that the article on the great Ibn al-Haytham is rather short, and lacking - among many other things - good quotes ON the man. Like the Neil DeGrasse Tyson quote. And we don't place the same quote on multiple articles on RationalWiki. If you care so much about the man (which I do, for one) improve on the article about him, rather than try to force your way into the Science article. Thank you.
