August Kreis III (1954–) is a longtime neo-Nazi who was a former leader in the Posse Comitatus and the Aryan Nations. In the 1990s, he was kicked off The Jerry Springer Show for calling Springer's mother a lampshade[1], a reference to Ilse Koch's rumored hobby of making lampshades from the skin of concentration camp inmates.
During the 2000s, he attempted to form an alliance between the Aryan Nations and Al-Qaeda, but Al-Qaeda did not accept his offer.[2][3]
In 2011 he was convicted for pension fraud by the federal government.[2]
In 2015 he was convicted on three counts of child molestation and sentenced to 50 years in prison. At his sentencing, he urged everyone present to vote for Donald Trump for president.[4]
