  • In lower and higher education, academia, and in other contexts, cheating on tests or in the production of works. The latter may involve plagiarism. Research fraud often involves fabricating data.
  • Illegal activities like fabricating financial records, and at times legally exploiting loopholes or navigating grey areas.
  • Adultery.
  • Deceit in general, emphasizing unfair conduct.
